Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal visited the Singhu Border to address the farmers protesting against the farm bill. Kejriwal and other members of the Aam Admi Party addressed the farmers.
Kejriwal not just visited the site to show his support to them but also took the proper glance of the arrangements being made for the farmers. He made sure that the farmer brothers don’t suffer in any way during the protests.
The Aam Admi Party has been backing the farmers since the initial days of the protests and has pledged to do so until the government agrees to negotiate and withdraw the farm bill.
‘Will Back Bharat Bandh’ Says Kejriwal
During his speech at the protest site, Kejriwal said that he is with the farmers on every step they take. He promised that he will never back off when it comes to supporting them to get their rights.
The farmers have called for a Bharat Bandh on December 8 and Kejriwal along with his party have pledged that they will back the nationwide strike. The Chief Minister added that he will stand by the farmer brothers not just as a political body but as a son of the soil.
He added that he and his party members will always be there for the farmers. Kejriwal also said that no how much the central government pressurizes him, he will still stand against the farm bill.
