This incident occurred on December 13, 2020, during an election rally in Srinagar. Actually, a Shikara who had several BJP leaders and journalists suddenly met with a horrific accident.
Actually, the boat had reached the shore when it overturned and the members onboard fall into the Dal Lake. Luckily the relief personnel showed their bravery and saved everyone.
Actually, the leaders were on a rally promoting their party during the sixth phase of council elections in Jammu and Kashmir and that is when the accident occurred.

Shahanawaz Hussain recently gave his statement on the tragic incident.
Bharatiya Janta Party leader Shahnawaz Hussain in his statement revealed that by God’s grace no one was hurt after this horrific incident. He also thanked all the relief personnel for saving everyone at the right time.
The rally was being led by Anurag Thakur, the present union minister of India.
