Burger King is set to sell vegan nuggets in UK

Burger King, the most famous and favorable brand for a burger is ready to sell its vegan nuggets in the UK as a part of a pledge to make its menu 50% meat-free by 2030.

The nuggets offered by the company is certified by the Vegan Society and it is made of soy and plant proteins say the fast-food giant.

Two years ago, Burger King introduced a plant-based Rebel Whopper burger, but it was eventually proven to be inappropriate for vegans because it was cooked on the same grill as meat.

It has created a Vegan Royale burger in response to increased demand for such items. A vegan diet excludes all animal products, including meat, fish, dairy, and eggs.

Burger King claims that being meat-free for 50 percent of the time will help it cut greenhouse gas emissions by 41%. It claimed that their vegan nuggets would taste identical to those made with chicken.
