CBSE had announced the cancellation of board exams after the second wave of coronavirus had hit the country. Now it has announced the criteria through which the students would be assessed.
The second wave of coronavirus suddenly hit the nation thus bringing several things to a standstill. Students suffered a massive loss as the educational institutions were shut down.
After that different education boards decided on postponing boards examination. Even the Central Board Of Secondary Education decided against not holding board examinations keeping in the mind the safety of the students.
And now the board has submitted its assessment criteria to the Supreme Court.
CBSE has stated that the marking of the class 12 final examination will be based on the students’ performance in class 10 and 11 final exams and class 12 pre-board examination.
The best of these three classes would be assessed for the final results. The decision was taken by a committee of 12 people. And after proper analysis, the criteria were submitted to the Supreme Court.
And after SC’s nod, the board has declared that the 12th board results would be out by July 31, 2021. This marking criteria by the board have earned mixed responses as of now.
