Celon Laboratories has launched Amphotericin B Emulsion for the treatment of black fungus. Celon is a biopharmaceutical manufacturer, based in Hyderabad.
On Monday the company gave the information. The company has claimed that they will try to manufacture 10,000 vials every day and ensure relief for approximately 6,000 patients monthly.
From 2013 the company started manufacturing Liposomal Amphotericin B, but the demands of the market were not met because of the unavailability of a critical ingredient sourced from Germany – lipoids.
The company is soon going to send the drug to the hospitals and some Covid-19 treatment centers. And they will try to treat the black fungus soon.
