The third season of “Cobra Kai” was dropped on January 1, 2021. The action fiction series is an adaptation of the movie Karate Kid and the series has entertained us with three seasons.
The series was renewed for another season by Netflix in October 2020. And it was three months before the release of “Cobra Kai” Season 3. Fans were overjoyed after the confirmation came and since then we have been waiting for the release of the upcoming instalment.
Although Netflix is yet to announce a release date for “Cobra Kai” but some sources have stated that the shooting will start in the next few months.
Depending on the shooting schedule the release date for the upcoming season would be decided. Also, official sources have stated that Netflix has planned to release the upcoming season by late 2021 or early 2022 depending on the pace of the filming. Although we need to wait for the OTT platform to officially announce a release date for the upcoming season.
The adaptation of the Karate Kid tells the story of a martial arts academy “Cobra Kai” where students are trained by Kreese to emerge as the trained martial artists.
The upcoming season will be full interesting revelations because the Karate Tournament will decide the fate of Cobra Kai academy. Because the pact was already signed in the third season that the one who loses the tournament will have to leave martial arts and the town itself.
The pact has put immense pressure on Kresse to save the academy. But in the upcoming season, we will witness an old counterpart of Kreese who will help him in saving the academy. With that, we will get glimpses of Kreese’s past life as well.
Thus the upcoming season is expected to be full of action and the tournament would be a treat to watch. So let us be a little patient until Netflix releases an official release date for the upcoming instalment.
