The Delhi police have rubbished Aam Admi Party’s claims. In a statement, an official has said that by no means that the Chief Minister has been put under any house arrest.
It has also been clarified that the Home Ministry has not issued any such order to keep Kejriwal under house arrest. On asking about the barricades and heavy security outside the CM’s residence the officer said that these are for Kejriwal’s safety.
Because there are high chances of violence due to the ongoing protest in the city.
