Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh recently became a part of the farmers’ protest at the Singhu border. He addressed a large number of farmers at the protest site and promised to stand with them in these tough times.
The Punjabi singer-actor has been a firm supporter of the farmers’ protest. Since the beginning of the protest, Diljit has been extending his support to the farmers through his social media posts.
And this time he actually visited the protest site to stand in solidarity with them. Diljit became a core part of the ongoing protest at the Singhu border where he addressed the large crowd of farmers and extended his valuable support.
During his visit, he delivered a speech directed to the central government as he urged the government bodies not to ignore the plight of the farmers.
During his speech at the protest site, Diljit Dosanjh spoke on how the bill can ruin the present and future of the farmers in our country. He also said that the farmers are not here to shed blood or to initiate violence but they are here to fight for their rights.
Diljit also added that a nation cannot be imagined without farmers but here they are being deprived of their basic rights. Apart from that he also directly urged the government to look into the matter closely and reach a conclusion as soon as possible.
The singer also assured the protesting farmers that he will remain by their side no matter what. Because he is one of them and will make sure that his farmer brothers don’t suffer in the hands of these three farm laws which can hamper their lives.
