Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain fame Divya Bhatnagar was pronounced dead at the Seven Hills Hospital on December 7, 2020. She was battling coronavirus.
The 34-year-old television actress Divya Bhatnagar was hospitalised in the last week of November. She was said to have high blood pressure and ha also caught pneumonia which resulted in complicating her condition.
After testing positive for COVID-19 on November 28, her health started worsening and had to be shifted to the intensive care unit as her oxygen level fall.
After battling for almost two weeks she suffered a massive cardiac arrest at around 3 am on December 7 and was pronounced dead. He mother and brother were by her side throughout her battle. Her brother has given an official statement after her death saying that her loss is unbearable.
He also added on how she was going through a lot even on the personal front.
One of her colleagues and television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has deeply mourned her death. And with that, she also revealed that Divya was going through a lot in her personal life.
Divay Bhatnagar’s mother had already revealed that she was married to an abusive man named Gagan in December 2019 and suffered domestic abuse. Even Devoleena shed light on the same thing.
In an Instagram video, she said that Gagan made Divya’s life nothing less than hell. She added that Gagan used to beat her for every small thing and also tortured her for money. She said that she won’t stop until her colleague and close friend gets justice.
