As elections are around the corner Home Minister Amit Shah took a sly dig at the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee after her recent remark on the ruling government.
Amit Shah Takes A Dig At West Bengal CM
The rivalry between the Trinamool Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party is not unknown to any. Now as the West Bengal elections are approaching things are taking an uglier turn.
The TMC has been ruling West Bengal for decades and even this time the party is sure of its win. But on the other hand, the BJP is adamant that they need to win in the state. As a part of the election campaigns or rallies the CM of the state Mamata Banerjee never misses a chance to criticize BJP.
So as a reply to all her recent statement, Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at her. He said that the TMC is too overconfident of their win but little do they know that the people of Bengal want a change.
‘We Will Form Government In WB’ Says Amit Shah
The Home Minister has also confidently remarked that this time the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in West Bengal. And that the TMC should pack their bags.
Shah said that the party will surely win more than 200 seats in the West Bengal Assembly Elections. Apart from that he also said that Mamata Banerjee should probably accept her defeat from now on.
He has also accused the TMC of promoting nepotism because Mamata’s nephew is next on the row to contest as the CM of the state. Shah said that Mamata’s main motive is to pass on her power to her family members which is a direct display of nepotism.
