Jen Psaki: Social Media should not amplify ‘untrustworthy’ content

 Jen Psaki, the spokeswoman of the white house has stated that the social media should take of its content and should not amplify ‘untrustworthy’ content over the platform.

Jen Psaki added that the social media has the responsibility to make people aware about the ongoing situation related to health safety and many more with accurate information.

These days people are overloaded with information over social media sites, which can mislead people sometimes. Specially the information related to Covid-19 is spreading rapidly over the sites.

It is very much important to verify the information to stop the spread of misinformation and disinformation. Joe Biden, the president of US said that the social media sites has a huge responsibility on them to share accurate information worldwide.
