Ladies from UP villages offers prayer to ‘Corona Mai’. The villages of Varanasi and Kushinagar have now deified the Coronavirus and worshipping ‘Corona Mai’.
They said that if they will worship her then they could save the people from dying. On Sunday the ladies were standing in a queue to worship Corona Mai.
The women used to come from different ghats to worship. Surili Devi of Kushinagar said that they would offer prayers for 21 days to appease the Corona Mai and were confident that the pandemic would recede.
The ladies were asked that who told them to worship then they added that Priests have said that if they will worship Corona Mai then the pandemic would recede. The women standing in a line for hours and none of them were following the Covid-19 protocols.
