Microsoft Teams launches video calling feature for personal use

Microsoft has launched a new feature to the Teams App. This app is widely used for professional meeting but now the new feature says that the users can use this for personal calling to their family and friends.

The calling is totally free, it is a all day free video calling offer. With this feature the Teams app user can meet more than 300 people in a call and the duration of the call could be 24 hours.

According to The Verge, Microsoft will “eventually enforce limits of 60 minutes for group calls of up to 100 people after the pandemic, but keep 24 hours for 1:1 calls”. Microsoft previewed the personal version of Teams nearly a year ago on iOS and Android devices.

In the new feature the services are going to be same, it would be work for professional calls, chats. video calls. share calendar, location and it also allows to share files very easily. The new feature would work in all type of desktop, mobile and web.

The company has also given permission to the Teams personal users that they can enable its together mode.
