NASA says China fails to meet responsible standards

has slammed China for failing to meet “responsible standards” regarding its space debris on Saturday. American space agency NASA said that the rocket launched by China space agency fell over the Indian Ocean, near Maldives.

The debris of the 5B rocket again entered in the earth’s atmosphere around at 10: 24 AM according to the Beijing timing. Later on it fell on a Indian Ocean at 72.47 degrees east longitude and 2.65 degrees north latitude, China’s Manned Space Engineering Office said.

On this incident Bill Nelson, NASA administrator said, it is crystal clear that China is not able to fulfil the responsible standards regarding their space debris.

“Spacefaring nations must minimize the risks to people and property on Earth of re-entries of space objects and maximize transparency regarding those operations,” he said in a statement.
