Section 144 has imposed in Lucknow till 16 July by the government. To take care of the covid-19 situation that is why the government has taken this decision.
The restriction would be there for one month and if the situation does not het under control then the government might increase the section 144 for few more days.
In the last 24 hours, Uttar Pradesh recorded 1165 fresh coronavirus cases and 85 deaths. At least 55 of these cases were reported in Meerut, which has a total of 1179 active cases at present.
