In December 2019, we got an amazing historical fantasy series “The Witcher.” This series had the most unique plotline and left us anxiously waiting for its second season.
We know that Netflix had signed up for two instalments of “The Witcher” way back when the entire project was announced. Hence we already knew that a second season to the series would be there.
After the release of the first season in December 2020, the production of the upcoming fell prey to the coronavirus shutdowns and the production was completely stalled.
Then when the situation started healing a bit the production resumed and ended in April 2021. As expected, a post on Netflix’s Twitter account on June 3, 2021, read that “The Witcher” is coming soon.
It means that the release for the much-awaited season will be announced soon. There are chances that the upcoming season will be out within the coming few months.
Fingers crossed!
Coming directly to the plot assumptions that have been doing the rounds about the upcoming season, we can expect that the plot will revolve around Cirillia the most.
Because we know that Geralt is adamant to train her so that she can defend herself and her people. Therefore the season will shed light on the training she will undergo.
In the end, we are expecting her to become a skilful witcher. Also, the airs around the sorceress’s death in the battle will be cleared. So overall the season is going to be quite interesting!
