WhatsApp forces their users to accept the new privacy policy says Center to the Delhi High Court on Thursday. Center also added that the site was also found to be indulge in anti-user practices by obtaining “trick-consent” from the users.
They are trying their best so that the users would accept the policy and conditions before the Personal Data Protection Bill becomes law in India.
It is also said that the people who have not accepted the privacy policy till date, they are being flooded with notifications everyday to accept their terms and conditions.
The government also told the court that WhatsApp has “unleashed its digital prowess” to the “unsuspecting existing users” and would like to force them to accept the privacy policy by flashing such notifications at regular intervals.
