WhatsApp confirms they will not delete the users account if they will not accept the new privacy update, but those users who will not accept the policy after few week they will not get the access to their chat list and will not be able to answer whatsapp audio or video calls.
The official announcement made by WhatsApp says that they have fixed the last date 15 May for accepting the privacy policy after the given time period the accounts will lose full access on their account.
WhatsApp, on its website, said it is continuing to remind those who haven’t had the chance to review and accept the terms, and after a period of several weeks, “the reminder (that) people receive will eventually become persistent”. It, however, did not divulge the timelines set for these reminders.
They have also said that if the user has enabled the notifications then they can tap to read and respond to a message and call back a missed phone or video call, this statement was given after few week of the statement, users, who still won’t accept the terms, “won’t be able to receive incoming calls or notifications and WhatsApp will stop sending messages and calls to your phone”.
